By installing, accessing, or using Cazy Quiz ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

These Terms apply to all merchants, administrators, and users who access or use our Shopify application.

2. Description of Service

Cazy Quiz is an AI-powered quiz builder application for Shopify stores. The App enables merchants to:

• Create interactive product recommendation quizzes
• Collect customer preferences and data with proper consent
• Display personalized product recommendations
• Analyze quiz performance through analytics dashboards
• Use AI-powered quiz generation features

3. Account and Access

To use Cazy Quiz, you must have an active Shopify store. The App is installed through the Shopify App Store and requires authentication via your Shopify account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Cazy Quiz offers multiple subscription tiers managed through Shopify's billing system:

• Free Plan: Limited features and response quota
• Paid Plans: Additional features, higher response limits, and premium support

All billing is processed through Shopify. Subscription fees are charged according to your selected plan. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the App or Shopify admin.

Refunds are handled according to Shopify's App Store refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Cazy Quiz to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Collect customer data without proper consent
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or compromise the App's security
• Use the App for any fraudulent or deceptive purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

6. Customer Data and Privacy

When using Cazy Quiz, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA) regarding your customers' data.

The App collects customer data only with explicit consent through opt-in mechanisms. You agree to:

• Inform your customers about data collection through quizzes
• Obtain necessary consents before collecting personal data
• Honor customer requests for data access, correction, or deletion
• Maintain appropriate privacy policies on your store

7. Intellectual Property

Cazy Quiz and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CazyWeb and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all content you create using the App, including quiz questions, images, and configurations. You grant us a limited license to store and display this content as necessary to provide the service.

8. Third-Party Services

Cazy Quiz integrates with third-party services including:

• Shopify (e-commerce platform)
• Google Gemini AI (AI-powered quiz generation)

Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

We do not guarantee any specific results from using the App, including increases in sales, conversions, or customer engagement.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAZYWEB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and Shopify's data protection requirements.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
